Shipstack is pre-launch. This page is a placeholder so the site's structure is complete; it is not a legal document and should not be relied on. It will be replaced before the service is generally available.
What this page will cover
The published terms will set out the agreement for using the Shipstack API: acceptable use, availability expectations, liability, and the circumstances in which an account may be suspended.
What is already true
Shipstack is not a postage reseller. You bring your own carrier accounts and contract directly with each carrier; Shipstack quotes and books against the rates you have negotiated with them, and does not mark them up.
That means your carrier's own terms continue to govern the carriage itself: what may be shipped, what is insured, and what happens when a parcel is lost or damaged.
